Position Description:

As a Mobile Tire Technician, you are operating one of our tire-installation service methods for customers, the Mobile Van. Mobile Tire Technicians are responsible for performing safe and quick tire installation and serve as a contact for the customer to ask questions and engage with.

Essential Functions:

• Complete basic tire services (e.g., mounting and balancing tires, minor tire repairs) using the Mobile Van in order to provide the safest, easiest, and most convenient experience possible.
• Safely drive the Mobile Van to and from all appointments and conduct proper safety checks when installing customer?s tires.
• Build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction by inquiring about what they need and delivering on their expectations.
• Able to understand and articulate all warranties, promotions, advertisements and promotion of products and services.
• Utilize tools provided to make recommendations to customers based on manufacturing recommendations
• Responsible for completing invoices, calling customers to confirm appointments and tire selection, communicate and check-in with the centrally located retail store.
• Build a repeat customer base through outstanding service, including thorough explanation of the customer?s tire needs, an understanding of what the customer wants, and by catering to the customer?s needs to ensure every transaction is a pleasant experience.

• Responsible for delivering outstanding service throughout customer interaction, including initial contact through completed service (e.g., checking in, scheduling appointment, accurately estimated time requirements, and check out procedure)

• Use company-provided training platform for continued personal and professional development.
• Follow all traffic and driving-related laws and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and customer environment, including, but not limited to, the following tasks: taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping counters clean.
• The ability and desire to work autonomously.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver?s license
• A satisfactory driving record
• High school Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Must be able to bend or kneel to reach parts of the vehicle low to the ground
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous driving experience
• Previous automotive experience
